Money across borders, explained plainly
Dani Fabian (danfab.com.ng) is an independent personal finance site for people whose money crosses borders: families sending money home, students and new immigrants setting up their finances in a new country, freelancers paid by overseas clients, and anyone trying to protect their savings from a falling currency.
The site was started in Nigeria by Dani Fabian, a fintech writer and Web3 enthusiast, and now covers routes and readers from Lagos and Accra to London, Toronto, New York and Sydney.
What you’ll find here
- Guides that walk you through real money tasks step by step: opening accounts abroad, sending money, saving in dollars and getting paid internationally.

How we work
We check figures against providers’ official pricing pages and regulators’ public registers, and we link to our sources. Every guide shows when it was last updated, and we revisit guides when fees or rules change. No provider pays to be included or ranked. Read the full editorial policy.
Nothing on this site is financial advice. Always confirm the latest details with the provider before you move money.
